    Banknote Info

Japan printed the 10 Baht (5th series) banknotes from the Netherland's banknote printing factory in Indonesia that were seized by Japan. The banknotes were printed in poor quality in term of paper and ink. The banknotes were delivered to Singapore then sent to print serial number and signature in Thailand.

Before bank of Thailand prepared to issue the banknotes, the bank found some counterfeits in circulation and discovered that some banknotes were lost on the way to Bangkok. Minister of Finance announced those notes were illegal and solve the problem by overprinted 50 Satang on the original value with black ink.
