Banknote Info
The 1 baht (Kong Tek) banknotes were printed at The Royal Thai Survey Department on paper from Thai Paper Mill Company at Kanjanaburi. Because of low quality of paper and ink mixing, the banknotes were much different from the notes that printed in England. They were looked like Kong Tek notes, typical Chinese assumed banknotes to burn for funeral, so people called the Kong Tek notes. This banknote was the first type that was made in Thailand all processes.
The 1 Baht (Kong Tek) banknotes were announced on 25th January 1942.

Front
The main object is the image of King Rama 8 on the left. The upper middle image is Garuda. The star symbol is at the middle with 16 ray away from the star center. The words "The Royal Thai Survey Department" are at the lower middle. The oval on the right is embedded the picture of the constitution on the pedestal tray.

The main object is the Anandasamakom throne hall. The words "The Royal Thai Survey Department" are at the lower middle.
