Bank of Thailand has the royal permission to print the commemorative banknotes in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej in gratitude for H.M. King's boundless and gracious kindness.

The commemorative banknotes was issued into circulation on 20 September 2017. Collectors can exchange at any commercial banks as regular circulating banknotes.
