In the celebrations on the auspicious of Their Majesties King Bhumibhol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit's 50th anniversary of coronation and royal wedding, Bank of Thailand has permission to issue the commemorative banknotes in 2000.
The banknotes were issued on 8th May 2000. A set of banknote and paper folder prices 200 baht.

Front
The main object is the image of Their Majesties King Bhumibhol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. The other elements are monogram of ภปร (Por Por Ror) and สก (Sor Kor), the image of the coronation ceremony, the institute ceremony of Her Majesty Queen, the Garuda and a flamboyant motif.
