His Majesty King Chulalongkorn (the King Rama 5) ascended the throne on 11th November 1868. The foundations for all development of the country were modified in the reign of King Rama 5.

Att Kradad was issued in 1874 into circulation along with Pi. Until the coins and machines arrived to Siam, Att Kradad was redeem. The government also had announced the people to exchange Pi to the casino operators before 28th November 1875 that Pi would be no longer acceptable.
